That’s it. Second coffee made while Tellaro waits for the the first to display its much celebrated effect. In the meanwhile there’s time to shout out the word “done” at those of you who wanted to know more about our forthcoming album. Here are some unnecessary track-by-track notes.
- Vacuum | 19 November 06 | G | Accidentally found extremely cool to play with vocal samples, so Tazio’s sister, when she was 3 of age, opens the track with her childish la-la-la. The soup is a cut & re-cut and (sometimes) paste mix of guitars, violins and other disasters. Francesco – while being away at his parents’ – sang the chorus on the phone with Tazio on the other end recording. Lyrics: people find attractive one another till further notice. The song begins just afterwards.
- My life’s a fraction of the money in my pocket | March 07 | E – | Fast all-in-the-title tune with one drum machine and just a piano line. We’re Sicilian blokes, no doubt, i. e., with few perspectives. No doubt.
- Seattle, Sicily | 28 June 06 | A | First track recorded ever since we’re a 2-some thing. Gospel mood on a semi electronic platform. Fed up with noise bands, noise drum-beats, noise attitude, noise stare, noise pose, noise whatever.
- Dario whoranges | October 06 | G | Here one of Tazio’s friend, Dario makes a spoofy political speech on Sicilian independence party. All is all, the contrary too. It’s been the first time we’ve ever tried singing a choir-ish chorus. You guessed.
- The divorce | November 06 | A | Found a 70’s record at Tazio’s grandma’s on mono to stereo musical breakthrough. Big deal, man. Got no wires at home, just a mike and a pc. Tazio recorded some bass lines with a Shure58 taped to the strings. Never being practicing with a particular sport, except for table tennis.
- The Smartass & the Fool | 25 February 07 | D | Friends May come, friends May go especially in February. So open-wide lands, clear chords, lame scales, some go up, some don’t. Essentially a goodbye song. Originally called “Your ass is a mess”.
- Maria | September 06 | D | In a word, Tazio’s grandma singing an old traditional Sicilian song. In Sicilian.
- Life goes on | April 07 | A | There’s hope for everyone, especially those with a gun. Singing catastrophe with a smile in our face. Nothing more to say. Hey, the choir thing gets better!
- Fighter | January 07 | E – | Just another average Avril Lavigne cover song.
- Bad news don’t need to be introduced | December 06 | D | How to find electronic stupidity meaningful. We failed.
- Zaurdetto (Zaurfatto) | 08 June 07 | A | Tino’s a rapper, he doesn’t know yet. Discovers modulation wheel by chance, starts off a glittering career. His brother an Ebay account. His mom is stuck to the tv as she tests which armpit stinks more.
- Things are tired of being desired | 27 November 06 | E | Slow track with very old chords on the compulsive urge to buy everything over and over. Tazio’s old Kentucky uncle played slide guitar here. Thank you, Peter.
Till next time,
Tellaro

Oh Yeah! My uncle Peter will be here for the summer holidays..
no way!
at last good news for people who’re used to get only half-bad/half-good news (plus gallons of pee-like liquids out of the third-floor window… and it’s always like “oh yeah! i know we were being loud but give us a break, will ya?!”).
another great (and so sicilian) title you can use it’s something my mum always says (it’s also funny in english, i guess)… here it comes: EATING FORGOTTEN BREAD.
peace out
EATING FORGOTTEN BREAD?
something like, WHERE JESUS LOST HIS LITTLE SHOES?
no… that’s just silly… they all know jesus wasn’t wearing shoes!
sure he had no shoes cos he had lost them, indeed
You! Bunch of Biblicist!
best title: TINO’S COFFEE
Title : Aieie!
